Partnering for Inclusion: BelongKC and Community Impact

h|d Architecture has partnered, again, with Inclusion Connections to support BelongKC, an inclusive housing initiative expanding independent living opportunities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Kansas City region.

Led by Inclusion Connections, BelongKC brings together supportive housing and community-focused resources designed to promote independence, dignity, and connection. The project responds to a growing need for inclusive living options and reflects a broader commitment to ensuring people of all abilities have access to safe, welcoming environments where they can thrive.

This partnership builds on h|d Architecture’s previous work with Inclusion Connections and a shared dedication to strengthening communities through inclusive, mission-driven development. BelongKC is supported through a combination of public and private funding, along with continued community donations that help advance construction, programming, and long-term sustainability.
